Eventually, oil and gas makes their way out of the strut, resulting in a hood that won't stay up on its own. This replacement hood lift gas strut from Rugged Ridge fits the 11252.52 hood lift kit and replaces those that lose the spring force over time. Sold individually. Easy to install.
