Ford Racing developed these 9 in. steel cases using special testing known as FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to withstand the demands of NASCAR racing. They feature steel castings that have nearly double the tensile and yield strength and elongation of cast iron. Their unique construction of meshed geometric shapes gives excellent stress and strain resistance. Ford Racing 9 in. steel differential carriers include steel bearing caps and ARP bolts.
